About PlayTennisLV

A junior development program built for the Lehigh Valley.

PlayTennisLV exists to expand access to quality junior tennis in Allentown, Bethlehem, and the broader Lehigh Valley. We want more families to find a clear, welcoming place where players can learn the game the right way and keep growing over time.

Our aim: strong fundamentals, real progression, and character development that lasts beyond the court.

Why We Exist

Access matters. So does doing it well.

More kids should be able to enter the game.

PlayTennisLV was built to widen the doorway into tennis. That means meeting families where they are, offering age-appropriate entry points, and creating a development path that feels clear instead of confusing.

Development comes before labels.

We care about long-term player growth more than hype. Players build the skills, habits, resilience, and confidence needed to compete well and stay connected to the sport.

On the Court

Real development. Real players. The Lehigh Valley's junior tennis program in action at Oakmont Tennis Club.

GreatBase Tennis

Rooted in GreatBase.

PlayTennisLV is grounded in the GreatBase Tennis framework. That means players learn through clear progressions, smart skill-building, and a coaching approach that respects both the age of the player and the demands of long-term development.

GreatBase gives the program a shared language for movement, rallying, spacing, decision-making, and player growth. It helps us stay consistent from Red Ball through older junior training.

“Age-appropriate coaching, structured progressions, and clear standards make it easier for families to trust the process.”
